Oscar-nominated Simon Blackwell is currently writing series 2 of HBO Comedy, Veep. He will co-executive producer again with Armando Iannucci. Veep has just been noimnated for 3 Primetime Emmys including Outstanding Comedy Series. He continues to write episodes of Peep Show. Simon has written on every episode of The Thick Of It. He co-wrote the multi-award-winning In The Loop and contributed to Chris Morris's Four Lions. Simon also created Armstrong & Miller's streetwise WWII pilots.
